Post by Kafer74 »

With a combined voltage of 144V and an amp/hour capacity of 155Ah at 75 amps, the Bus could hold a sustained 35mph for 62.4 miles per overnight charge. That’s only slightly slower than a petrol Bay.

Here is an original which is being restored by a company in Belgium:
The BBT electro transporter in its final stage of making it a driver again… this is a all original VW electro transporter from 1977, electric cars are not new from this century! will come up for sale soon, ready and driving…

Ferdinand Porsche was awarded the Grand Prix at the Paris Exposition in 1900 with the Lohner-Porsche Chaise, an electric car with hub-mounted motors. Nothing at all new about electric cars.

I have a book about Porsche with a photo of the car you are referring to, imagine finding one of those. It is interesting that we had one of these busses in South Africa (thanks for your post).
