Re: any carburettor pros
Too much fuel pressure will overcome the force of the little floats. Especially with the twin 34PDSIT carbs. Then fuel gets forced through, causing over-fueling and eventually fouled spark plugs. For 34PDSIT (which came with your 2L "CJ" engine), float level is best at 14mm.
Most atermarket electric fuel pumps have way too much pressure for this application. In one instance i found that it was violating max allowable pressure by 500%.
Other thing is that the twin 34PDSIT carbs came with 1.2mm needle/seats, (needed by the small floats), and not the more common 1.5mm ones as found in single 34PICT beetle carbs. Sometimes people fit the incorrect ones.

Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.

Thanks for that.
Is there a inline regulator i can purchase from a diferent car that I could fit?
Or suggestions to reduce pressure.
How pressure is needed

You haven't told us what the problems/symptoms are???
No sense being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.
