Splitfan also does it. I think he supplies the adjusters as well.
The only substitute for cubic inches are more cubic inches.

Hi Pierre,

I have it out the car stripped already, like to get it dropped before I spray and do some detail to it. I would only bring the H beam to you

Hello everybody

Bugger, how much would it cost to "do the whole thing remove strip cut fit adjusters re assemble and refit hbeam"?

HI
Sorry for late reply

Adjusters x 2 R+-580
strip/Cut and weld replace blades springs R600
Remove and fit front suspension about +-8hrs R 1200
Gries R200

If you strip out the H-beam and just bring the H beam then I charge R400 to cut and weld both Adjusters in to the H Beam
so you can save quite alot on labour

When I weld the adjusters in I turn them slightly as to drop the bug already and put the adjuster in the center so you can adjust slightly up and down

Cool thanx Bugger, one question from my side, I see in the magazines they refer to narrowing the beam, most the time 2-4 inches, can you do that too? or is it too much of a mission with the blades(they must most probably get shortened too?)

HI No I dont do it that is for when you want to go very low and have the wheels tucked in very deep

Think Splitfan does the narrowing of the h beams

Hi

Bugger, your prices are really reasonable. It's better than purchasing a brand new adjustable beam. Will bring my beam towards November. Thanks

Your the best!

Bugger, do you also do the rear i.e. bring cab to you and get it back a week later with a dropped back suspension? Oh...when the rear is dropped, what shocks are fitted onto the bug?
